Sheet Metal Processing Machine Worker (Level 3) & Operator (Level 4) VQA Certification
At Sönmez Certification, we validate the competence of specialists working in the forming and processing of sheet metal, in compliance with Vocational Qualification Authority (VQA) standards. This certificate is a legal requirement to ensure quality and occupational safety in the manufacturing industry.
Scope and Levels of Vocational Competence:
The qualifications in sheet metal processing are offered at two main levels, depending on the type of machine used and the complexity of the task:

Mandatory Core Unit:
The mandatory unit that candidates must successfully complete in both qualification levels is A1: Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality. Risk management and environmental awareness are critically important in sheet metal processing machinery.
Certification Process and Validity Period:

Exam: Consists of two stages: Theoretical (Multiple-Choice Test) and Performance (Practical Application - Machining a part at the bench). The candidate must succeed in the chosen machine unit (e.g., Press Brake or Punch Press).

Validity: The certificate is valid for 5 years for both levels. Surveillance assessment is carried out between the 2nd and 3rd years from the date the certificate was issued.
