Metal Cutter (Level 3) & Metal Cutting Operator (Level 4) VQA Certification
Sönmez Certification is authorized to validate the competence of professionals working in metal cutting operations, the initial and most critical stage of the manufacturing and metal industry. The National Qualification System defines the metal cutting profession at two main levels:

Mandatory Core Unit for All Levels:
The mandatory unit for both qualifications is: A1: Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality. This ensures that safety and quality are the highest priorities in metal cutting operations.
Certification Process and Validity:

Theoretical Exam: Assesses knowledge and regulations related to A1 and the selected B units.

Performance Exam: Measures the candidate's skill in cutting a workpiece according to a given technical drawing, using the chosen cutting method (e.g., Laser Cutting or Guillotine Shearing).

Certificate Validity Period: 5 years for both levels. Surveillance is conducted between the 2nd and 3rd years from the date the certificate was issued.
