Primary Welding Methods Certified (Elective Units):

In the Steel Welder (Level 3) qualification, candidates take the exam by selecting at least one of the following methods, in addition to the mandatory A1: Occupational Health and Safety in Welding Operations unit:

Examination and Validity:

• Examination: Consists of two stages: Theoretical (Knowledge) and Performance (Practical Application - Weld Test Coupon). Weld samples in the performance exams are subjected to destructive or non-destructive testing according to relevant standards.

• Certificate Validity Period: Varies between 2 or 3 years depending on the selected welding method. Surveillance periods are carried out periodically in accordance with international standards.
