In cases where abuse is proven, sanctions are implemented in accordance with legislation and contracts.
3. Equal Opportunity Policy
Our institution has taken all necessary measures to prevent discrimination. Access to assessment and evaluation has been provided for everyone, taking into account the needs of candidates with special requirements. It is essential that the assessment and evaluation of national qualifications are valid and reliable, and that no person or group is made more advantaged or disadvantaged than others.
4. Internal Verification Policy
Sönmez Certification ensures the execution of internal verification activities, guaranteeing that only deserving individuals can obtain certificates. Internal verification is conducted in a valid, reliable manner, covering all assessors and national qualification activities. Our procedure is open, fair, and free from bias; all decisions are recorded accurately and in detail.
5. Occupational Health & Safety and Risk Management Policy
Sufficient attention is paid to OHS issues in all activities. It is guaranteed that personnel, candidates, and all other persons have legal obligations in terms of OHS. Annual OHS risk assessments are conducted to identify and minimize potential hazards, and necessary information and training are provided. The implementation of safe working systems, up-to-date tracking of best practices, and compliance with all relevant legislation are essential.
6. Policy for Evaluating Appeals and Complaints
Candidates are enabled to question and appeal against national qualification assessment and evaluation decisions. Complaints regarding the services provided by the institution are taken into consideration. While a progressive appeal procedure is operated, each appeal/complaint is standardized and recorded for openness and fairness, and kept for investigation by the institution when requested.
