Shuttle Driver (Level 3) VQA Vocational Qualification Certification
The **Shuttle Driver (Level 3)** national qualification certifies the knowledge, skills, and ethical behavior of drivers operating school buses and personnel transport vehicles to ensure passenger (especially student) safety at the highest level. Due to this profession being classified under **Dangerous** occupations, this certificate has become legally mandatory.
The qualification covers not only driving skills but also pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, route planning, emergency response, and behavioral standards based on passenger satisfaction.
Certification Prerequisites (Required before entering exams):
Candidates wishing to obtain the Shuttle Driver (Level 3) certificate must meet the following requirements before applying for VQA exams:
Hold the **relevant driver's license** specified in the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918.
Hold a **SRC 2** Vocational Qualification Certificate (Domestic Passenger Transportation).
Hold a **Psychotechnical Test Report** issued by an authorized center.
Not have been convicted of infamous crimes specified in the Turkish Penal Code (especially sexual offenses, drug offenses, and deprivation of liberty).

To obtain the Shuttle Driver (Level 3) certificate, candidates must succeed in both the theoretical and performance-based (practical) exams of the A1 and A2 units. There are no elective units.
